We had the amazing opportunity of interviewing Brad Olsen a little while back on West of The Rockies Radio, leaving us with a wealth of new and fascinating knowledge. Brad is a man of many talents and interests, ranging from writing, publishing, and public speaking, to traveling (including worldwide exploration), illustrating, and even event production (namely the How Weird Street Faire in San Francisco, his current city of residence). Unlike your usual Jack-of-all-trades, he seems to be a master at what he does. He has been featured on various TV shows, such as “Ancient Aliens”, “America Unearthed” (both of The History Channel), and “Mysteries of The Outdoors” (the Travel Channel), as well as appeared on radio numerous times, including on Coast To Coast AM, National Public Radio, CNN, The X Zone, Buzzaw, and The Travel Channel. Brad has also spoken at events such as, Awareness Life Expo, the 5D events, and Contact in the Desert, which is incidentally where we personally met him and conducted our video interview (see below).
He commenced his writing career in the genre of travel books/guides, before then transitioning to fringe topics and conspiracies, though the two do overlap. We see this intermingling of topics particularly in his “Sacred Places: 108 Destinations” series, which currently consists of four books, with “Sacred Places North America: 108 Destinations 2nd ed.” winning the Bay Area Travel Writers top gold prize award for the, "2010 Best Travel Book for the Planet Earth," category. Brad’s, “Future Esoteric: The Unseen Realms,” also won top prize in 2013 of the "New Age" category in the “Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards”.
To date, he has authored nine books, published several more, and also illustrated various media -- in fact, his work in illustration began back in high school, taking him through college (for Illinois State University's newspaper), and now illustrating books for his company, Consortium of Collective Consciousness Publishing.
On this edition of WoTR, we focus on Brad’s book, Future Esoteric: The Unseen Realms, as well as delve into some other related topics. We question him about his very own “red pill” moment, including when and where it took place, and how it changed him. We also discuss some of his top “sacred sites,” what types of locations they are, and what makes them so special. We then move on to talk about UFOs and classified government projects, asking him about his own experience with UFOs, his thoughts on hidden underground cities and military bases, and the connection to the Third Reich when it comes to “flying saucers” and secret space programs. Amongst these topics, we delve into contemporary cases, such as that of Gary McKinnon, and talk about current secret societies, the control that they have, and how money plays into this as a tool of enslavement. We further inquire about his views on truth and knowledge, in particular that which is hidden from “the masses.” This is where we really start diving into his work on esoteric themes, making a point to define the very meaning of the term “esoteric” in itself. We discuss the hows, whats, and whys of enlightenment; the idea of the pineal gland possibly being our “spiritual antenna”; the debate surrounding the existence and “weight” of the human soul; and where a “god” might fit into all of this.
Alas, this is not a show to be missed! Be sure to listen both to the full radio interview, as well as our brief video interview, with Brad Olsen.
